Summit Gala Dinner

The BDF Summit 2010 Gala Dinner will be held at the Design Innovations Center of Vilnius Academy of Arts.

The Gala Dinner is held on the eve of the first day of the Summit, Tuesday 1 June 2010. Transport will be provided for the participants that will take them from the conference venue at Litexpo to the evening event.

The cost of the dinner is included in the conference fee, but please note that it is obligatory to register for the Gala Dinner separately in order to let us know how many seats to prepare. You will receive an invitation card once you are registered, that will be your entry ticket to the Design and Innovation Center where the dinner takes place.

However, before dinner there will be a special event at the Lithuanian Drama Theatre. The Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organisation Rufus H. Yerxa will address the participants about Trends in Global Trade. Thereafter the winner of this year's Baltic Sea Award will be announced by Hans Skov Christensen, representing this year's Summit Sponsor the Danish Industry Foundation. Finally the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Audronius Ažubalis will give a welcoming address as host of the Gala Dinner. 

Thereafter the participants will walk from the Drama Theater to the Design and Innovation Center, which is a pleasent stroll through the old town of Vilnius. 

During the Gala Dinner there will be music entertainment by the most prominent Lithuanian jazz singer and a master of flute Neda Malunaviciute will create a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. This entertainment is sponsored by Vilnius City Municipal Government.
