High-level Group on Transport for Sustainable Growth

The second High-level Group meeting on Transport for Sustainable Growth in the Baltic Sea Region was held in Bodø, Norway on June 15th.

 

The main outcomes of the High-level Group meeting on June 15th can be concluded in three points:

  • The Baltic Sea Region needs to form a common transport development strategy as a policy guideline for investments
  • The HLG seeks permanent connections to financial institutions and cooperation with the European Commission, especially the Northern Axis steering group
  • The HLG supports and encourages new types of sustainable logistical systems

The next High-level Group meeting is arranged back 2 back with the Tallinn Summit on November 6th 2007.
