Today, November 27th, the board of Baltic Development Forum met and decided to appoint Helle Bechgaard as the new Chairwoman of the board after the recent passing away of Hans Skov Christensen.
Helle Bechgaard will be chairing BDF in an interim period until a permanent solution on the chairmanship has been found. The board expects a new chairman to be appointed within the next few months.
As Vice-chairman of the board, Stephan Müchler was appointed.

At the same time, the board decided to launch a review and update the organizational structures enabling BDF to ensure its strong position and outreach to the whole Baltic Sea Region, working as a facilitator and initiator of projects and as an agenda-setting think-tank and forum for stakeholder dialogue.
