You are hereby invited to nominate distinguished candidates for the 2010 Award. The winner will be announced at the Baltic Development Forum Summit.
Individuals or organizations from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden are eligible for the Award.
The Baltic Sea Award is an annual award for extraordinary contributions to the development of the Baltic Sea Region. It was established in 2007. Apart from the honor the honor, the Award consists of 5000 Euro and a diploma. This year the Baltic Sea Award is sponsored by The Danish Industry Foundation.
Nominations, Jury and Award Distribution
Nominations to the Baltic Sea Award 2010 should be submitted no later than Friday May 14th.
Send your nominations of candidates by e-mail to the Baltic Development Forum secretariat at bdf@bdforum.org. Please write “Nomination Baltic Sea Award 2010” in the subject line.
As previous years the winner of the Baltic Sea Award will be appointed by a jury consisting of the BDF Chairman, the Prime Minister of the country hosting the BDF Summit and the Chairman of the company sponsoring the Award. Consequently, the jury of the Baltic Sea Award 2010 consists of BDF Chairman Uffe Ellemann-Jensen, the Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius, and Mr Hans Skov Christensen representing the Board of The Danish Industry Foundation.
