On 21 January, BDF organized a meeting for Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) from around the Baltic Sea Region in Tallinn. The event was hosted by the Estonian Investment Agency and held at the e-Estonia showroom in Tallinn, a center showcasing Estonia´s ICT achievements and solutions.
The meeting event was attended by 11 IPAs with representatingves from almost every country of the Baltic Sea Region, including the Russian Federation. The meeting was organized as a pitching event where IPAs were provided with the opportunity to present concrete ideas and proposals for regional cooperation activities to each other. After fruitful and engaged discussions, IPAs agreed to a number of follow-up activities and practical cooperation tools e.g. on competence development.
The meeting in Tallinn was a follow-up to the ONEBSR-project that ended last year. As part of the ONEBSR-project, BDF published an IPA “Business plan for the Baltic Sea Region”.
As part of BDF´s activities to brand and promote the BSR, BDF is committed to continuing the close cooperation with the IPAs as part of our objective to brand and promote the Baltic Sea Region.
